California State Horsemen's Association (CSHA) was incorporated in 1942 to serve the equestrian community of California by providing a unified front to address equestrian related issues.

Region 5, which encompasses Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in the Bay Area is one of 19 regions throughout the state.
